El Complejo — The Complex

In collaboration with Claudia del Fierro and Barbara Camps I was invited to design the publication of a video installation called “El Complejo – The Complex”. “There is a place in the untold history that involves impulses, a latent frequency. El Complejo goes to the town of Neltume to collect traces and reorganize them in the possible space of the museum, expanding the limits of an archaeology. An infinite and unfinished project: Timber Complex of Panguipulli, the most important collective center for timber production in Chile during the government of Unidad Popular. Two years after their arrival, the 13 members of Toqui Lautaro Detachment are ambushed, some annihilated in the fog and cold of the mountain. 1981. Neltume is under siege and it is all winter.”
